West Palm Beach
A high-rise building is only as reliable as the systems working behind the scenes — especially when it comes to emergency power. On a recent project in West Palm Beach, ACS helped support critical generator operations across multiple elevations in a new high-rise development.
The project included two fuel oil supply pumpsets, tank gauging, belly tank controls, and dedicated return pumps for each belly tank. One pumpset was designed to serve a generator located on the 5th floor, while the second supplied a generator positioned roughly 20 stories above on the rooftop.
Moving fuel vertically through a high-rise environment brings a unique set of engineering challenges. Reliable fuel transfer, accurate tank monitoring, and coordinated control systems all play a major role in ensuring generators are ready when they are needed most. From lower mechanical floors to rooftop emergency power systems, every component has to work together seamlessly.
Projects like this highlight the importance of thoughtful system design and dependable field execution. Whether servicing equipment a few floors up or powering systems at the top of the skyline, ACS continues to support infrastructure projects with fuel oil systems built for reliability, safety, and long-term performance.
